London, 1930. An impetuous medical student about to graduate strives to become a surgeon when his life is completely changed overnight by the new intrusive neighbour. He has seemingly figured it out in life faces an unstoppable force just to learn that the world doesn’t care about one man’s problems. The universe, or god, or any other entity is not a force that would punish you for wrongdoings or reward for being good. It simply exists and abides by its own rules, and we as humanity are a just small part in this machine.
